- The vacancies in LDC cadre belonging to the Sorter quota have been diverted to Seniority cum Fitness quota in the LDC, if there are no eligible Sorters for the promotion to LDC. Hyderabad PAO has send the specific proposal for such diversion and the orders are issued by the PA wing permitting such diversion. Six MTS(Gr.Ds) are going to get the LDC promotion.
- LDC Recruitment Rules are amended and sent for Gazette publication.
- Confederation of Central Government Employees and Workers has held its National Council at Mumbai on 01-12-10. Some of the important demands on which the Confederation is going to launch the agitation are: 1. Revise the wages for every 5 years. 2. Merge the D.A with basic pay when the D.A. cross 50%. 3. Remove ceiling on compassionate appointments. 4. Settle all anomalies in a time-frame. 5. Implement all the arbitration awards, etc.

- First national Women Employees Convention is going to be organized at Kolkata by the CoC, West Bengal from 07-02-2011 to 08-02-201
- All is set for holding the Federal Executive of NFPE at Hyderabad on 10-12-2010.
